Recognition for Tahoe restoration efforts
Preservation of the Lake Tahoe Basin earned Huffman & Carpenter Inc. of Reno the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers’ Lake Tahoe Award of Distinction.
The Corps’ Sacramento District honored the wetlands regulatory and hydrological consulting firm for its efforts in project development and implementation of the Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works, Lake Tahoe Program. The project is part of the $3.5 billion environmental improvement program.
