Kirkwood may turn employee housing into guest lodging

Kirkwood Mountain Resort is seeking to amend its Amador County use permit so it can convert employee housing on its property to lodge some guests at low cost.
Kirkwood finds that its employees are tending to find off-resort housing in nearby urban areas at Lake Tahoe and in the Carson Valley.
