It doesn’t take much to make a little mess a much bigger one.

And that might be no truer than when it comes to traffic. As anyone knows, a minor fender-bender can easily turn an already busy road into a frustrating sea of stationary brake lights.

Local and state transportation officials are now considering a high-tech answer to the problem mirrored on a system already in place in Las Vegas and many other cities.
