Ex-LT art gallery owner making news in Palm Springs

The Palm Springs VillageFest Board lost a member after its meeting on Dec. 22.
Jill Beede, a Desert Hot Springs High School teacher and former Lake Tahoe art gallery owner, submitted a letter of resignation dated the same day as the meeting.
With Beede’s resignation and the absence of Sally McManus, who resigned for medical reasons last fall, the board now has two vacant positions. Five members remain.
