Garrido attorney battle not over

Say what you will about Gilbert Maines — and plenty of people have, recently — but no one can say he’s not a fighter.

The embattled former attorney for Nancy Garrido plans to return to court today in yet another bid to get back on the case.

“I’m doing what my client has asked me to do,” Maines said Friday. “I don’t have a choice.”
