Vail Resorts skier visits drop 2.7%

Vail Resorts Inc. said Friday its skier visits at its five winter resorts were down 2.7 percent through Wednesday from a year earlier, but the company said it was pleased with its results so far given light early-season snowfall.
The Broomfield-based winter-resort and hotel company (NYSE:MTN) operates the Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone ski resorts in Colorado and the Heavenly resort on Lake Tahoe in
California and Nevada.
