USFS looking for employees

The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit (LTBMU) is offering free job workshops to assist people interested in working for the agency. The workshops will be at Lake Tahoe Community College in South Lake Tahoe, Room L-107, on Feb. 16 from noon-1pm and 5-6pm.

The workshops will explain the seasonal employment opportunities available for 2010 other opportunities with the LTBMU. Those attending will learn where to find information on job postings, the steps on how to apply for federal positions, and some tips on navigating through the “AVUE” and USAjobs websites.
