Reno man kills neighborhood bear

A west Reno resident shot and killed a black bear that was raiding garbage cans in his neighborhood, Nevada wildlife officials report.

The shooting occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday on Boulder Court in the Skyline Drive area, officials said.
