Caltrans working on Hwy. 267 near Northstar

caltransCaltrans asphalt replacement improvement project on Highway 267 in Placer County near Truckee is about to begin.

Construction is scheduled to start from Northstar Drive to Brockway Summit. Motorists can expect delays from 7am-8pm Monday through Thursday and until noon on Friday.

This $327,266 project will remove and replace sections of the asphalt concrete surfacing between Northstar Drive and Brockway Summit.

The contractor is J.D. Pasquetti Engineering Inc. of Lincoln. Work is anticipated to be completed before Memorial Day weekend, weather permitting.

Caltrans urges all motorists to use caution in this area and to “Slow for the Cone Zone”.
