Meeting about Carnelian fuels reduction project

The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit is seeking public comment on the proposed action for the Carnelian Hazardous Fuels Reduction and Healthy Forest Restoration Project.

The agency will host a public meeting on June 3 to share details of the proposed project activities, answer questions, and encourage comment on the project. The meeting will be at the North Tahoe Conference Center at 8318 North Lake Blvd. in Kings Beach from 5-7pm.
