Cox returns to Legislature after cancer treatments
State Sen. Dave Cox, R-Roseville, returned to work at the Capitol on Monday after being out for a couple months.
The lawmaker who represents Lake Tahoe in the Legislature has been battling prostate cancer for 13 years.
He has been in the Senate since 2004. Prior to that he represented the region in the Assembly.
A little vague on the info here. Has he been ABSENT while battling cancer for 13 years and only just returned to work? Or was he just gone for a short time during a small battle in the big war?
