The South Lake Tahoe Fire Department will be hosting a multi-jurisdictional hazardous materials drill at the El Dorado Beach area on June 28 from 9am-3pm.

This drill will consist of a simulated hazmat situation. This drill will be utilized to hone the response skills of the area firefighters and other responders as well as the command and control functions used by the incident commander. The theme is cooperation, competency and standardization allowing the various jurisdictions to operate as a unified body.
