El Dorado County Department of Transportation are about to install pipes that will cross Angora Creek between Angora Creek Road and Mount Rainier Drive.

This segment of Lake Tahoe Boulevard will be closed Aug. 12-Sept. 20.

Drivers, and probably cyclists, should use View Circle to access the Y or North Upper Truckee Road.

Let us see. Five weeks to run a pipe under two lane Lake Tahoe Blvd. It is certainly good of STPUD to expedite the project. Without their thoughtfulness for the community, who knows, this project may have taken longer than the famous “hole in the ground” convention center.
