The good old days a 7 day pass for seniors cost $200. The drive was worth it and interesting. The compliation by Susan Wood is fact. The late 80s and all the 90s Kirkwood was the place to go for wide open spaces.
Still the best chutes, drops, steeps compared to the beginners hill called Deavenly valley…turkey paradise, a lodge for the gondola tourist crowd to eat 50 dollar burgers ,wear their apparel to the dance clubs, look like real out towners ,in town, cool people.
Be sure bring your snorkel ,face mask,it’s a place for the serious ski ,board riders.
season pass with no blackout dates,,what do you do when it’s a powder day,sit home hope there’s some untracked left when you get your turn after the holiday or weekends.
