Poor recordkeeping results in fine for slot machine distributor

CARSON CITY – A Las Vegas company that has a license to distribute slot machines has agreed to pay a $2,500 fine for violating the regulations of the state Gaming Control Board.

Capado Gaming Corp. has admitted its violation of not keeping adequate slot machine sales records available for inspection by state agents in 2008.

Capado sold five slot machines to a restricted gaming business at Incline Village in the Lake Tahoe area. The complaint, filed Sept. 30, said Capado failed to maintain any records documenting the serial numbers of the slot machines, as required.
