• Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Homewood Mountain Resort have named Kevin Mitchell regional director of snow sports and resort services.

• Fred Findlen has been named general manager at the Hyatt in Incline.

• South Lake Tahoe City Council is scheduled to have a public hearing on the General Plan on Nov. 2. Meeting starts at 9am at Lake Tahoe Airport.

    Cleaning for a Reason, that is awesome!! When I was going through chemo and radiation I was so weak I could barely go up and down my stairs, let alone clean them. Right before I came home for good a dear friend had her housekeeper come over and clean my house for me. It was the BEST gift I ever got!
