Hi there, I’m a freelance writer and an editor from Reno and just moved to South Lake Tahoe. Would love to learn more about your group in Truckee. Can’t participate in your classes because we’re gone for 6-weeks.
    Thanks much,
    Linda

Does South Lake have a writing group? I love the idea, but would prefer a constructive gathering closer to town.

Yes Sue, you are looking at everyday if you tune in to this website…no there’s no labels, publisher on the comments, just good honest writing from the hard working people of South Shore.
You are more than welcome to tune-in but carry a big stick and grow thick shin,it gets pretty Gnarly sometimes.

    Hi Linda and Sue,

There is a writing group in town, Tahoe Writers Works. I am a member, and we workshop every other Tuesday. Check out our website, http://www.tahoewritersworks.com.

Also, I own a small press in Meyers, http://www.bonafidebooks.com — you are welcome to call or stop by and find out about literary events in our community. (We are hosting a Scary Slam and Costume Contest October 30.)
