Harrah’s has been trying to shrink their business since the recession began…with their resources and the struggles of their competition, they could have dominated the casino industry by seeking new players, but have missed a huge opportunity.

Harrah’s Lake Tahoe continues to be supportive of our community, our service clubs and programs for our kids. Harrah’s Heroes are phenomenal and so are the many staff who work there.

Harrah’s Reno is offering the same deal tonight for active military and Armed Forces veterans at the Carvings Buffet. By the way: also today, Harrah’s just donated $70,000 to help build the first Universally Accessible Playground in Reno.

Harrah’s Lake Tahoe has been a supporter of
many local fundraisers and continues to step up even in these difficult times. I know for a fact that the CEO, Mr John Koster, has put community involvement as one of their top priorities. Kudos to this organization!!!

Harrahs has caused millions of $ in social and addiction problems to the south shore than any other business, and a give away like this gets them more free publicity than the cost of the food.
The Ca. side of the south shore has borne the brunt of these hidden cost, which are in plain sight everyday, just look at the police blotter.

Harrah’s Tahoe rediscovering clever, old Sahara Tahoe marketing strategy…anytime you have people waiting in line for great deal buffet, they will usually play slot machines.

Years ago, $4.99 buffet (was it prime rib or roast baron of beef?) at Sahara Tahoe could easily become $25 or $30 or more just waiting in line.

There are no slot machines on the 18th floor. I attended that free buffett and it was packed. There are over 24 thousands vets living around the lake with 14 thousand in El Dorado county alone. Thank You Harrah’s!!!!!! I for one appreciate your gesture.
