Ski report: Winds force Heavenly to delay opening

Yes, it’s still fall — but in Tahoe the calendar means very little when it comes to weather and outdoor fun.
Heavenly opens Saturday if the winds cooperate, Northstar this weekend and Boreal has been whisking skiers to the top of the mountain since last month.

Nasty Old Wind ,Blows the Big Show..wow..Saw this coming when they reported snow coming,it usually always closes when Geese fly South.
ANOTHER GREAT ENGEERING, WELL THOUGHT PRIZE WE HAVE HERE.
Pardon my opioion, but it really shows ,try using a chair.The old two seaters worked in wind, but these flying 4 TO 6 SEATERS ARE NOTHING BUT Wings, can’t funtion in wind either.
So much for the greedy math problem of simply getting you to the top so gravity can pull you down.
