Let the Tahoe Derby Dames help you with your gift shopping this season.

holidayThrough Dec. 12, Lake Tahoe’s only flat track derby league will be hosting its first online holiday auction, featuring a variety of gifts. The auction proceeds will help the Dames cover the cost of renting an indoor practice space this winter, since the outdoor track is under a few feet of snow through the spring.

Registration for the online auction site is free, and auction items can be paid for via major credit card or PayPal.

    Wonder if the team evaluated using the old Safeway/Miller Outpost building for skating?

    It is been our DREAM to have that building! It was SO expensive and we just heard they just sold it…and a bunch of new retail shops will soon be there- We are skating at Kahle Community Center this winter…Thanks Kahle!

    It’s the building behind and next to the old Mikasa building that has been sold. As of today the owners have not submitted any plans to the city for what it may become.
