Temblor near Markleeville

The ground was rumbling near Markleeville at 3:57 Saturday afternoon.

The U.S. Geological Service recorded a 3.6 earthquake 4 miles from the tiny Alpine County town.

It was felt 146 miles away in Sacramento.

    Whooopee!! I don’t see it worth reporting unless it’s over 4 . Growing up in Southern California, if the doors don’t rattle and the bed don’t shake, it ain’t worth reporting!!
