AT&T dealing with email problems

image_pdfimage_print

Some AT&T email customers are experiencing problems. People are able to send emails, but those sending emails to sbcglobal.net clients are having emails bounced back to them saying the account does not exist. It does exist, it’s just that AT&T is having issues.

AT&T says the problem is on their end. They are expecting the problem to be resolved by 9:30pm.

Might be the solar flare ups,got some x size rays headed toward the planet, the northern lights are partying up a storm.
This effects power grids, satellite transmission, radio waves.

Or, it might just be AT&T, which is more likely. I dumped them last year and have never been happier!

Is anyone having issues with garbage collection with this storm? Our trash was never picked up on Thursday and wondering if we should keep putting it out or not bother until this storm is over??

Interesting, my problems with SBC email began on the night of Feb. 17th.Since that night anyone sending to my account in which others are on the cc or bcc line, or with attachments, are not getting through. Also, permission based email (e.g. Constant Contact, bank statements, receipts from iTunes, etc.) are also bouncing and not getting into my account. So are I all get from ATT is the run around, I am not sure they know what the problem is, and I know I am not alone. I manage the Constant Contact system for my church, and all of the SBC emails are not working. It is now Feb. 28th. I have started to suggest to folks that they get new email accounts.
