Body of missing Reno hiker found

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office today confirmed that a body found above the White’s Creek Trailhead is that of missing hiker Rick Gentry.
Deputy Armando Avina said that two Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue volunteers were training their cadaver dog, Geiger, when they discovered the body in the area above the Whites Creek Trailhead around 3pm Monday.
They immediately reported it to the sheriff’s office.
