LTBMU seeks comments on off-highway grant

The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit is accepting comments for its Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation grant application. his annual grant funds Off-Highway Vehicle programs in the Lake Tahoe Basin including trail and trailhead maintenance and restoration and education and law enforcement of OHV and over the snow vehicle areas.

The grant proposal is available for public review and comment is April 4 on the state website.

    Whats the point they will do what they when they want no matter how many people speak up about something. Another waste of our tax dollars being spent to blow smoke up our a$$. Why not just close everything like you want to and then move on. Oh thats right if everything was closed we wouldnt need you and your paycheck would stop. So we will endure the overregulation that is securing yoru job while taking away from my enjoyable time with my family. Sure Glad my father died for my and my families freedom so that you can take it away. The Forest Service is a joke. Ok off my soap box have a nice day.
