South Tahoe pool temporarily closed

South Lake Tahoe’s community pool is closed today until at least 1pm.

Call (530) 542.6056 before heading to the facility to confirm it is open.

I’m sure some will be thankful for the “heads-up”, but it would be good to indicate why the pool is closed? Should people be concerned or is it just an equipment issue? Is there a safety issue, a public health concern? It’s just a bit too thin to simply say the pool will be closed until at least 1:00. Anyhow, next time let us know what the problem is, it is a public facility after all.
