Bears looking for food in Tahoe neighborhoods

It’s that time of year when bears are roaming Lake Tahoe neighborhoods.

Although it’s never a good idea to put trash out before the day it picked up, it’s even more critical now not to so these bruins don’t get hooked on human food.

An anonymous South Lake Tahoe photographer says this bear named Brutus was hit by a car two weeks ago and is now scavenging for food.
