El Dorado County Department of Transportation has scheduled a temporary closure of the Mosquito Bridge over the South Fork of the American River for annual maintenance activities.

These activities include inspection, adjustments to hardware installed last year, and overall cleaning of the structure.

The closure is scheduled for July 18-29 between 8am and 3pm.
