If you’re looking to learn a new skill, trade, language or craft, Northern Nevada is filled with successful professionals from every background and field who also are terrific resources for anyone willing to learn. Everything from the University of Nevada, Reno, to the Nevada Museum of Art’s museum school offers classes taught by experts who practice what they preach.

“People are usually pleasantly surprised when they come to the college,” said TMCC’s media relations coordinator Kelly Frank. “They don’t expect to find experts. But these are people who want to give back. They’re not doing it to get rich and famous.”
