boat• Ninety-six percent of California boaters say their watercraft leak oil most of the time or every time they go out on the water. Here is the boater survey.

• Geocachers can ride Squaw Valley’s cable car up to High Camp to find 10 caches hidden among the mountain’s peaks. Geocaching is free with a Cable Car ticket and GPS units are available for rent at the High Camp retail store for $10 per day.
