South Tahoe murder suspect released from jail

The South Lake Tahoe man accused of murdering his roommate has been released from jail.

A spokeswoman for the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office told Lake Tahoe News her office is waiting for the police department to finalize reports before they would contemplate issuing a criminal complaint.

Because of this, Brad Macewan is currently a free man. He had been kept in jail as long as legally possibly on a probation issue, according to a police spokesman.
