Fire near Bridgeport expected to be contained Thursday

The Buckeye Fire burning near Bridgeport in Mono County is 50 percent contained, with full containment expected Thursday.
Smoke from that fire can be seen in the Truckee Meadows.

Tuesday, fire crews are focusing on improving and holding containment lines, and they are starting to mop up all hot spots 100 feet in. Firefighters have been faced with steep, rocky terrain, making it a difficult fire to contain.
