To the community,

Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Lake Tahoe Task Force would like to offer a special thank you to Aston’s Lakeland Village for providing transportation and meeting space for this year’s Leadership Lake Tahoe class.

Leadership Lake Tahoe lasts through June 2012. Twenty-five students are taking part in an intensive 10-month experiential program to provide information, strategies, contacts, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Program topics cover key leadership issues and

skills including leadership orientation, public safety, economic development/redevelopment, government (Nevada and California, city and county), media/communication, environment/transportation, health care, social services/community resources, education, and tourism. Additionally, participants will take part in small group projects that will benefit the community.

You are where you are because you follow who you follow.

    This leadership is for followeres.

You in California need to turn your backs on fhis type of academic “group think” folly and look for leaders that stand up to this type of group think.

    It’s what got you here.

near Last place in nearly every important assesment.

If you keep doing what you have done you will keep getting what you have got.

Leaders are leading by leaving the state liberal mess to collapse on it’s own.

free market capitalism is the solution to CA leadership problem.

This is just more of the same ol’ thinking that is leading you off the cliff.

I wish this comment system would let you edit the typos and spelling.

Why do you resent everything and everyone and slam every idea if its not your own? Rather than editing your typos, edit your attitude.

This program is an excellent one Pub. I was part of it several years ago and it helped me become the person I now am.

Kudos to the chamber for continuing Leadership Lake Tahoe. We need to prepare our future leaders, both in public and private arenas. This program brings out the inner leader and shows one the path they can take to help their community.

You must be the change you want to see in the world…..Ghandi

I love America. California, not so much. Very predictable and rapidly declining culture.

I see the problem with America is exemplified by the State of California and further along the path of destruction.

I don’t need to change my attitude I want to encourage the rest of the country from doing what CA does.
Best way is to get the real leader types. Not the groupie types to leave CA. It will hasten it’s demise.

Many in America woke up last election and CA didn’t. CA: a terrible state of mind.

I moved out and encourage others to do so too.
The debt, though unknown totally is known to be unsustainable. Period.

It’s not my attitude, it’s just the way it is.

Do the math. Understand the cause.

    Then you will move.

    Thanks for reading.
