The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is looking for people to participate in next month’s Community Awareness Academy.

The series of eight classes gives people an inside look at the agency. Each of the eight sessions covers a different topic. Classes are Oct. 4-27 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9pm at the Community Room of the Placer County sheriff’s headquarters in Auburn.
