seniors• El Dorado County health officials this week are providing senior citizens with disaster preparedness information during visits to senior nutrition sites. They will be at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center on Sept. 23 from 11:30am-1pm.

• Lake Tahoe Community College Professor Bruce Armbrust has a new vehicle. But he didn’t buy it. Check out this video.

• William Eadington, longtime UNR gaming researcher, will be inducted in to the American Gaming Association’s Hall of Fame in November.

• Gateway to the Sierra’s 2nd annual Sportsman’s & Outdoor Expo is Sept. 30–Oct. 2 at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville.
