Missing Reno man found in embankment near Markleeville

A Reno man reported missing Thursday morning to the Reno Police Department was rescued late Thursday morning after his vehicle was found over an embankment in Alpine County.
Few details were available about the case, but the California Highway Patrol reports the man was found in the vehicle at about 10:48am in the area of Highway 4 and Wolf Creek Road about six miles southeast of Markleeville.
CHP officer Jeff Gartner said the vehicle was over an embankment just west of Chambers Mansion off a road that was closed by mid-afternoon because of an approaching snow storm.
