A good concept to get both sides of the State line talking to each other. The South Shore Vision Plan (more correctly named the Edgewood Properties Vision Plan) needs to be vetted thoroughly by the city of South Lake Tahoe.

Doulas County and the City of South Lake Tahoe share an integrated economy. These governments must work together to achieve the best outcomes.

The vision goes far beyond what Edgewood would like to see happen. The citizens of Douglas County and the City will be asked for their participation in shaping the vision. This is a welcome first step.

This would be an ideal time to convince Douglas County commissioners about contributing their fair share of operating costs for the South Lake Tahoe airport.

A reasonable vision for sure. And a welcome first step in sharing fairly South Shore’s integrated economy.
