South Tahoe, Whittell, Truckee volleyball teams headed to State

South Tahoe, Whittell and Truckee high school volleyball teams are head to the state championships in Las Vegas next weekend.

South Tahoe will be up against Truckee in the Class 3A division at 6:20pm on Nov. 11 at Silverado High in Vegas. Whichever team wins will play for the championship at 4pm Nov. 12.

Whittell, in the Class 2A division, as the No. 2 ranked school from the north will take on Calvary Chapel, the No. 1 ranked school from the south. They play at Silverado High in Vegas to 4:40pm Nov. 11.

If Whittell prevails, the championship round is at Chaparral High at 10am Nov. 12.
