Being raised military I would listen to my father’s stories and quips again and again. One statement that he made continually becomes even more significant the older I become. His statement?

When we kids would bump an elbow or a hsin, my father would always say, “It’ll feel better when it stops hurts.” I think of that sayings when life is going on an even keel, when nothing at the moment is hurting. I’m thankful that everything at the moment is OK. It’s been worse.
LTESM. Especially my daughter’s teacher, Mrs. Dill, and foe reading Mrs. Penaloza! She is blossoming there and coming home with words like biodegradable and ozone layer…. Love it!!!!

I am thankful to have the outdoors and clear lake so close to our door. I am thankful for a community that has given me and my family so much–a healthy business, good schools, a protected environment and a place to live that is always the envy of our family and friends.

I am thankful my folks decided to move here all those many years ago. What a great place to grow up!
Now as I’ve gotten into my late fifties I’m really thankful for my family, friends and my neighbors.
On the little street where I live we all help one another and it’s great! So I’m thankful for that too.

I am thankful that I moved out of California – the poor education system and the socialist running the state have destroyed it and it’s future.
It is bankrupt bankrupted state.

The robot is in attack mode again. More personal attacks here and on the bear hunting opinion piece.
But funny, he has dropped off the Slednet thread, because I came up with a doctor who disagrees with his opinion. He HATES it when he can’t win arguement, so must run away and attack someone else. Like a dog that can’t get out from behind a fence to attack a passer-by, so instead attacks its companion dog.
