I love that the fire truck schedule is posted but, sometimes, the truck goes by so fast I don’t have time to get the camera ready to take a photo. How about giving approximate times for major streets and making a bit more noise while driving around? Christmas music interspersed with an occasional honking of the truck horn might help.
Thank You to the people of Lake Valley Fire Department for providing this fun service.
Tahoe Karen, I would say you are not paying attention. With all the lights on the truck, and the music playing, I have never missed the fire truck, even when I forgot it was coming by. If you really want to see it and get pictures, check often, as though you are waiting for Santa to arrive, have your camera ready by the door and keep your tv and stereo and other noise low so you can hear the fire truck. When you see it coming, go outside, they always stop when people are out watching and waving.
Thanks Lake Valley Fire
