A Gardnerville man wanted in connection with the sexual assault on a 6-year-old girl was arrested Jan. 4.

Victor Mora Jr. was located at the Carson City Inn Motel in Carson City Wednesday night after Douglas County sheriff’s deputies received an anonymous tip regarding his whereabouts.

Mora was booked into the Minden jail on an arrest warrant for lewdness with a minor.

Bail was set at $50,000.
