Incline adaptive skier reaches South Pole

Incline Village resident Grant Korgan — paralyzed since 2010 after a snowmobiling accident — has reached the South Pole.

The 33-year-old, who is using a device called a sit-ski, hoped to reach the South Pole on the 100-year anniversary of the Terra Nova Expedition, which arrived at the South Pole on Jan. 17, 1912.
