Chamber members donate cash, food to Christmas Cheer

More than $2,000 plus an entire truckload of non-perishable food items were delivered to Christmas Cheer in South Lake Tahoe.

Each year, Riva Grill hosts a Business After Hours Mixer for Charity and Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce donates the proceeds to a deserving organization. This year’s beneficiary was Christmas Cheer.

The local food bank regularly feeds 2,500 people a month.

    Christmas Cheer does a great job meeting the needs of members of our community, who are down on their luck in these bad economic times.

    Thanks to all those who donate: Businesses, organizations, individuals, and especially those who volunteer their time :)
