Reno skier dies in Northstar accident

A Reno man was killed in a skiing accident at a Lake Tahoe-area ski resort Thursday, Placer County, sheriff’s officials confirmed Friday.
Few details are known about the accident that claimed the life of 51-year-old Scott David Fritz at Northstar California. No one witnessed the incident, said Dena Erwin, public information officer for the sheriff’s office.
“It was some kind of accident. He most likely hit a tree,” Erwin said.
