Gov. Brian Sandoval will travel throughout Nevada to promote a new effort to get residents to take vacations within the state, a sort of “buy local” program for tourism.

Sandoval and Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki announced the “Discover Your Nevada” program at a Reno park last week.

“The point is to encourage Nevadans to get out and explore our own state,” said Sandoval.

The state’s Commission on Tourism is asking residents to submit their favorite places throughout the state, which will then be voted on at the commission’s website.

    Sounds short sighted and desperate.

    It suits you Nevada.

    Joe,
Is there any city, county, state, country,or planet with any programs or forms of government that you WOULD approve of? Any positive thought processes bouncing around in your head? Any relation to Oscar the Grouch?

    bigger picture.

Since you are not apparently aware of it California and Nevada are ranked the two worst economies in the country.

Do you think that is just a coincidence?

Or could it be something to do with the people leading it to ruin?

Look what they spawned on the county… Harry Reid, Nancy Polosi, Boxer, Brown.

Add to that the fact that they are two of the worst states when it comes to education.

Californians and Nevadans need to wake up to what they are responsible for.

I approve of states with freedom – YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?

There is little for Californians and Nevadans to be proud of as far as I am concerned.

You bow to socialist arrogant pigs.

    Any other questions?

    Joe,
So don’t you “need to wake up to what YOU are responsible for” as a Californian or Nevadan? Or do you not reside in one of these two states? If you do, how are you the only one absolved of any resposibility? What righteous task have you undertaken to make our world a better place to live? Simply by complaining? I think not. One thing I do know is those of your ilk lead no one anywhere!

What bugs me most is how intellectually lazy people are today.

People talk of the 99 percenters… what the heck is that???

49 percent of Americans don’t produce any thing but flatulent. How stupid are people to spout off the term – we’re the 99 percenters – when more than half of them don’t even work.

THAT BUGS ME, doesn’t it bug anyone else?

    Give me a break!

Then on top of it all – there is nothing happening today that hasn’t happend countless times in the 35,000 plus years of societal evolution and it never ends well. NEVER!

These are serious times and so few people seem to care. Ignorance is bliss, when the bliss wears off it will be hell.

So I use bombastic rhetoric to get people to think…

Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Bombastic rhetoric = non intellectual flatulence!

Joe, if ignorance was bliss you would be a much happier person.

John, I know math and I know finance.

I also know that California and possibly America itself is financially unsustainable.

I also know that excessive debt creates what is called – indentured servitude…

    a form of slavery …

As Ron Paul has pointed out – we are a nation on the road to fascism, a form of nationalized slavery.

    What do you know johnny?

    huh?
