I think that any LTUSD teacher that attends this TeaBagger- CorpoKochfiend-Talibangelist “weeklong fellowship” should say so in public so parents can be made aware of the influence of these dangerous and evil cult groups on their child’s education.

Blubird, this post and your response to honkylonk on the federal water bill thread remind me why I am so looking forward to leaving California. The viciousness displayed by the left against anyone who disagrees with their dogma is becoming beyond absurd. It would nearly be funny if it weren’t so frightening.
    Have a nice day.

The vacousness displayed by the right forces any cognizant “We the People” citizen to speak up to the fringe loonies that now occupy the GOP. It is frightening to think that a Rmoney, Gingrich., Paul, or (google me) Santorum should return the POTUS to the plutocrats. And don’t let the proverbial door hit ya where the good lord split ya on the way out. Have a nice day.

“The viciousness displayed by the left against anyone who disagrees with their dogma is becoming beyond absurd. It would nearly be funny if it weren’t so frightening.”

Dogwoman, are you really insinuating that only zealots from one side of the political spectrum are guilty of what you describe in your above statement? Are you completely insulated from the diatribes of those on the right, such as Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Ingram, etc.? Or is it that because your viewpoint is garnered by aping their talking points, thereby excusing them of being guilty of exactly what you accuse those of an opposing political belief system of doing?

If memory serves it was those on the right that were calling anyone who opposed entering a war in Iraq in 2003 both “unpatriotic” and “traitors” for exercising their constitutional right to freedom of speech to speak out against the policies of President Bush. I saw this happening right here in our very own little hamlet, happening at the Y with pro war protesters on one side of Lake Tahoe Blvd., and anti war protesters on the other. Even going so far as to say anyone opposed to the war was aiding and abetting the enemy against our very own US troops.
