ZCES student qualifies for state geography bee

Zephyr Cove Elementary School fifth-grader Trent Dingman is headed to the state national Geographic Bee in Las Vegas.

The state contest is March 30.

Bees were conducted in grades 4 to 8 to decide who would go to the next level. Students with the top 100 scores were invited to the state competition.

State winners will go on to the national competition in Washington, D.C., May 22-24.
