Is Tahoe the ultimate fishing area.
No it’s not, they poison their fish ,by the time they finish there will be no good fishing left.
plus now they screw with the food chain ,crayfish that keep the fish feed.
Science is always trying to play god.
Wish they crawl back in there test tubes and disappear.

Hang Ups, are you saying that in no way has your life EVER benefited or been somehow enhanced by science, or are you just advocating against any science you don’t happen to agree with?
I am going to somewhat agree with hangs ups.. Tahoe is not in any way the ultimate fishing area. And… science is constanly trying to play god with nearly all processes up here. I believe he is referring to fish and environemtnal topics. The topic is fish… The USFS electroshocked a huge section of the Truckee last year eliminating all browns and rainbows in the attempt to restore the cutthoat. That is a losing battle and all data at fallen leaf shows it cannot compete in Tahoe with the Mackinaw. So its a waste of our tax dollars to continue it. I agree with hang ups that much of the science on fisheries and stream restoration is playing god with things that cannot be understood therefore climbing up their test tubes and going away will save us all time and money. Crayfish, Mackinaw, kokanee, browns, rainbows, most eveything we see is not native. Does that mean we need to eliminate it? If thats the case I suggest we all pack our bags and move out of the basin, cause I know for a fact that the tens of thousands that live here and the millions that visit arent native either.
Thanks BILL .
Let’s not let science interfere with any of the true jebus stuff.
