STHS student’s photography singled out

South Tahoe High School student Angelee Brown received first place in the CaliforniaStreaming.org Digital Photography Contest  and finalist in the National Geographic photography competition that had more than 1,800 entries.

Brown’s black and white photo of her little sister caught the judge’s attention. The photograph titled “Playing Dress Up” was submitted in the student category.

    Several times, I’ve had the opportunity to attend the awards ceremony before graduation at LTCC. I have been so impressed with the talent of our young people on the South Shore. Angelee, your picture is stunning and you are one of these talented people — the best of luck to you!

    Thank you!! I recieved 1st place for the California Streaming contest and was in the top 28 for National Geographic.
