Thanks for posting this announcement Kae. While I am the Facilitator for the Sustainability Collaborative the project is led by the Tahoe Partnership for Sustainable Communities and funded by the California Strategic Growth Council. We are interested in attracting a diverse cross-section of stakeholders from all sectors and communities within the Tahoe/Truckee region who are interested in an integrated approach to advancing the long-term health of our environment, economy, and communities. We are not a government entity and do not duplicate the Regional Plan Update or any other existing processes. Through the Sustainability Collaborative we are committed to making effective stewardship of our complete ecosystem accessible to all. Thanks in advance to your readers for their consideration.
You are funded by the California Strategic Growth Council which is part of the government –
… it seems to me this is just another one of the government controlled agencies wasting the Tax payers money to do nothing.
Hey, what ever happened to the Tahoe Prosperity plan and the prosperity center?
This is no way to run a sustainable society.
You can’t fix stupid. A society on the brink.
As someone was quoted from about 1000 A.D., “Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain” – but this might be your only chance to make a difference. . . So go for it! !. . .
