A Super Moon lights up the Lake Tahoe Basin on May 4. Photo/LTN

Expect some loud howling for a couple nights. And it won’t have anything to do with Cinco de Mayo celebrations.

Look up – that’s a Super Moon lighting up the sky.

On May 5 at 8:34pm the moon will be 14 percent larger than normal and 30 percent brighter.

NASA has a video about the special moon.
